1821 & 53 LC's, 1869 Shield nickel, IHP and some more relics

Hunted a couple sites last night, one was a repeat since they just plowed it before planting. Found my first shield nickel & the 53 LC at that site and then the other coins and relics at the next site. I am having a tough time getting the date off of the one LC but pretty sure it is a 21. It almost seemed different, like it could be a counterfeit, but I don't know what to look for with those. There is definitely some whatsits in there, if you know what they are...let me know. We are off to the next site here in the next hour so hopefully I can post some more finds! Hope you all are getting out and finding the good stuff!

I seem to find one or parts of one at every site I have been hitting lately.

Thanks Ty! You aren't kidding about those shields. I have wanted one pretty bad and lucked out to find this one a good distance from the iron patch we were working.

After further review, I don't think my 1821 is a counterfeit. Just wish it was in better shape.
