I got out to one of my hunting spots today and pounded it for 8 hrs.
I got the 1905 Indian Head Cent first and then the 1918-s Standing Liberty Quarter
that was on my wish list. Yes it's my first Standing Liberty and not to bad if I may say
so myself.
I also got a big button and some other things.

Thanks nowgittingeverything.I got to looking at it after creeper71 mentioned 1918 /7 and took it to MPFISH to magnify it and we both agreed it is 1918 over 1917.

Very nice. If this is a 1918/7-s, why is it not on the banner yet. I have looked at the pics and it looks like the real thing. I vote banner.

Rodger,
I have a 1993 redbook that shows the overdate. I'm 99% sure that you have the 1918/7-s.
I would show it to a local dealer first and then probably send it in for verification.
You have another banner find there!
That one could be more valuable than one of the 20 dollar St. Gaudens gold coins you found a few weeks ago.
Like I said about the two gold coins: "how are you going to top that "?
Looks like you did! :P
