surely u found some coins or something? I always thought it would be neat to detect a prison yard, and dig up old shanks...lol

didnt find any coins or anything like that but i got 3 shanks and a state lock and a lot of junk

That's cool!

A few years ago I was asked by the maintenance supervisor of the property management company that I work for to help find some sprinkler heads at a different complex than where I work at.

It only took me about 20 minutes to find all the missing sprinkler heads ~ but I kept detecting for about three hours ~ there was coins EVERYWHERE! I started digging only the quarter signals. I came back to my office with about $13.00 in pocket change!

I went back there several times in the day following and found even more pocket change! Nothing old ~ just lots of new clad! It was pretty fun!

That is awseome! that is a great idea as well, why didn't I ever get that duty when I worked in the system, lol.
