I was kneeling and digging a hole when a big
black lab sneaks up on me from
behind and licked my face than took off.
Than I felt something crawling up my pant leg
and looked down and didn't see anything.
Than I felt it again moving up my leg so I took off the headset
and stood up and that's when I got stung.
I unbuckled, unzip and unsnapped my pants in about 2 seconds
flat and watched it fly away.
I was in a city park and lucky no one was around.
I did find 1 Indian Head Cent 1901.

I once had a dog come up behind me in a park. I wish
he would have liked my face. Bumble bees are usually pretty
docile.Hope the sting doesnt get too bad. Jimbob

Well....I just got back from a nearby school and didn't stay there too long as I was getting sniffed and licked by about three different dogs, and followed by several little kids. I don't have a problem with either of these particular species of fauna, but considering my digging tool is a rather sharp digging knife, I didn't feel too comfortable being around either of em.
No bee stings, but no indian heads either...maybe that bee was lucky

RD,
It could have been worse. You could have had the bee lick your face and the black lab crawl up your pants. :tongue3: ;D
Great title & post.

Since that was one of the most intriguing titles to a thread I've seen, I had to read it.

And I chuckled, thanks.

You were very brave, by the way, fighting off the wildlife as you rescued that Indian.
Thanks Likely Guy.

I'd love to get a surprise kiss from a Black Lab, but if the bee comes with it, I'll pass!
