Was compiling totals for my detector dealer (Carl) UpstateNY
and thought you might like to see them too!

Since purchasing my EX II, I have found the following in my first 7 months of detecting:
10 Indian head pennies, 65 wheaties, 12 Mercury Dimes, 23 Silver Roosevelt Dimes, Seated Liberty Quarter, Barber Quarter, 2 Standing Liberty Quarters, 9 silver Washington Quarters, 6 Religious medals, & 5 silver rings.

But the coins that I am most proud of are:
1787 & 1789 Spanish One reales at 10? deep,
Nova Constellatio with no date (1783-1786) at 12? deep
Liberty Cap Copper with no date (1793-1796),
Draped Bust Copper (with no date),
1796 Draped Bust Copper,
1807 Draped Bust Copper,
1854 Seated Quarter, &
1901 Barber Quarter.

Obviously clad is not in this list. Nor iron nails!?

Here is the silver mostly from my silver swamp...

I'll trade you 2<< no, _3_ well-hunted parks in my area for the swamp in your area!

Great going! Maybe I'll trade in my Sovereign... (but it would be easier just to trade the parks!)

coinshooter - I use Wright's liquid silver polish. Removes all black spots etc. I only use on coins that are not high value coins or key date coins.

lab rat - everything is location,? location,? location! You look long enough and far enough eventually you find the right place. least that's the way it is where I live. If you can find a place that was hunted out by the old detectors and forgotten - as long as it had been used by people since say 1945 you should find silver etc. If never hunted well then you can spend months or years pulling coins from that location.

You have a nice collection starting there. Imagine what you will have in about 10 years at this same rate!!! Ditto on a picture of the coppers. That I would really like to see...Lance
