The artillery medal is cool......and the battery terminals are "positive" finds.....well, at least one of them probably is. If you had fun, that's what counts. The finds are bonuses.

Nice haul! Medal looks to maybe be part of a military sharpshooters badge, cool looking car aw well. Looks like you were busy today.

I figured the badge was "artillery" because the center looks like a wheel....

whites, it's a standard sharpshooter's badge. The little eyelets below are to add extra bars such as Marksman and Expert along with carbine, rifle, or machinegun.

BTW, U might check and see if the badge is silver. I was thinking some were but didn't see any marks on the back.

WOW!! Great finds!!!! I see you got the lead out. No bullets huh? Now, how did those coins get in there? I wonder why they put (what looks to me to be a tire and rim) on a sharp shooters medal. Oh well, go figure. Excellent finds Nana WTG!! HH

Rv, actually I think that "tire and wheel" is where the bullseye was attached in the center.
Nana, I know you probably did check the hole but the rest might be nearby.

Rv, the tire and wheel may be right according to this which is Desert Storm era which I copied from a military forum.

well I've got a V-Device on my drivers badge. I thought everyone in Iraq got them.

The Drivers Badge will look similar to a sharpshooters badge with a wheel instead of a target in the middle. Underneath it it will say: Driver-W for wheeled, Driver-T for track, or Mechanic. I'm not too sure about the mechanic one but the other two I am.

that medal is really cool nana.and wheaties are always a good find. some of those old round pulltabs could be telling you that silver might be around. the round ones came on the scene around 62 or 64 and lasted until around 74 or so. the older ones have the tab attached to the ring with no rivet.(amazing piece of useless trivia ive picked up detecting!!)sometimes they can be a good indicator of how old a site is.if older tabs are present some 60s silver may be as well! maybe a return trip is in order?! good stuff!! (and no bullets!!) ;D

The medal you found is a drivers badge that is why there is a wheel on it. I earned one while in the army. I also have a sharpshooters badge.

Great digs,,WTG!!!
That little car looks to have some years on it. It doesn't look like one of the newer ones, 50's to 60's maybe...
Wat to go on the medal, how did that commercial go?,,, " I'd give ya a medal, but you've probably already found one.",, ;D
Good luck & Happy hunting~
