    1918-D Mercury Dime ~ 1944-S Washington Quarter ~ five wheats ~ clad

    Hello everyone!

I met up with Ron & Richard early this morning to take a little road trip up north to our favorite hunting grounds. We wanted to get an early start to beat the heat ~ it was suppose to get into the mid 90's today!

I'm happy to report that all three of us dug some silver coins today! WOOHOO!! Keep an eye out ~ I'm sure they'll be posting their finds here on T-Net soon. Here's what I dug today:

    1918-D Mercury Dime
    1944-S Washington quarter
    5 wheats ~ 1942 to 1956
    2 clad quarters
    13 clad dimes
    2 nickels
    37 memorial cents

I took pic's of the silvers coins before and after I cleaned 'em up. Plus, I took a close-up picture of the date area on the Merc dime. These are my silver coin finds #43 & #44 for the year.

    Thanks for looking!
    Neil

Love the Mercs, a single merc can turn a lousy hunt into a great hunt!

Nice coins, Neil. I really love that early Merc. So close, too! Glad to see you're exerting your authority over that wild beast!
