Howdy all,
Got out tonight for a couple hours at a new high school field tonight. I don't think this field has been hunted much at all if ever. I could have spent the evening cherry pickin quarters if I wanted to. But since I feel the need to dig anything above iron, I only covered a small portion of the field. About an hour into the hunt I get a mid tone with no iron bounce at all. I figured it was just another nickel or a cleat from a football players shoe. I couldn't have been more wrong. I am not sure if the stones are real or not, but they sure are shiny. I will try and make the time to have it tested tommorrow. The gold acid tested at 14k just like the stamp says. I always test my gold due to the amount of bootleg stuff I have dug. Just cause it has a stamp doesn't make it gospel. Anyway even if the stones are not real, 9.4 grams of 14k is awesome. This more than makes up for me not gettin any keepers yesterday. Thanks for lookin, and luck in the hunt.

I got the stones tested and all but one came back as CZ. The one that tested real was busted. Oh well the gold is good, so no complaints.
