I found this badge out in a bean field , I think there was an old house there at one time .

Very Cool, I think they started these in 1943 and there are 4 of these to earn. This one being the first award and than 2nd would have 1 star at the top and than 3rd-2 stars and 4th- 3 stars.

It could have been the CIB from a fallen soldier who's parents buried it there. I helped a family bury their sons CIB on his old high school football field not long ago.
