I agree, cool find! I'd post an ad in a freebee paper or something saying that you found a military pin, where you found it and let the owner describe it.

Yeah. I would really like to get it back to the original owner, because they deserve it more than I do. Good idea, I think I will do that this week. If I ever find the owner I bet they will be majorly surprised.

You have a "challange coin". They are called challange coins because you are supposed to carry them and, if you dont have one and are "challanged" you owe everyone in the bar a round. Soooooooooooo, that was long ago and many politically correct lifetimes ago. Now they are given as sort of a good job coin by commanders and sergeant majors (AKA Sergeants major,,,,,,whichever). Go to fleebay and type in military challange coins. Youll see. Good find BTW. Ranks WAY above finding a geocoin.
