I'm on cloud nine right now! 18K ghandi pendant and .925 silver ring! 
Hey guys! I am on cloud nine right now!!!!! I keep following JuJu's advice of digging everything and it finally happened! I struck a 18K Ghandi Pendent! Washingtonian wanted to meet up for a hunt last saturday, so I met him in Klahanie which is a development in Sammamish, Washington. Washingtonian, I and Rob all decided to hit this baseball diamond, which they had been meaning to hunt for some time. I started going back and forth at the edge of the baseball diamond, and was digging every signal! Most of the time I would get trash and clad. Then, I got a really low tone and decided to dig it anyway. I was thinking it was trash, man was I totally wrong! I dug out a gold Ghandi Pendent!!!!!
At the time, I thought it was gold, but wasn't sure. The reason for my theory was the pendant has no markings what so ever to verify that it was gold. After two hours of hunting I had to go to work. After work, I got on Yahoo Messenger to tell JuJu about my discovery. JuJu told me to bring it on over monday when I come for hunting and we would acid test it there.
It was 4am when I got up to go to Tacoma and it was totally dark. I gathered all my detecting gear and the pendent and speed off. When I got to JuJu's house it was 6am, and immediatly when he looked at the pendent he knew it was real gold! Once we got in his RV, JuJu acid tested it at 10K, and kept going up! Then all of a sudden he stopped at 18k and said, "Matt, you got yourself an 18K pendent!" I was so excited! I almost had a heart attack right inside their RV!
Putting the excitment behind us, we set off to do some more detecting! I don't remember how many soccer fields, schools, and recreational grass fields we went to, but we eventually got to one that pulled out some goodies! There was lots of clad of course, but finally I struck a .925 mexico silver ring! It was right next to a quarter! JuJu said it probably fell out of somebody's pocket!
What an exciting past days it has been so far! This is my first gold for this year, last year I only got 2 pieces of gold one being that .999 gold ring. This year my goal is to at least get 2-3 pieces of gold! I am on my way!
