Weekends lake Hunt

We spent the weekend a sommerville agien, saw 2 detectorist whil coming in but they werent in the water just along the edge. We went to our usaull park. My wife finally got a intrest after seeing my last rings selling on ebay for over 300.00 and currently pushing 400.00, so she decided to give it a try. she got out the ace 250, and brought it over so I got out of the water to show her how to use it. I set it up and said find a signal and we'll see what it tells us. right off withing 2 steps she gets one, i go over tell her it could be a penny or a pop top as it was bouncing alittle.

And I dug this 10K with 13 diamonds, unbelivable beginers luck. I left her alone after that and she dug some clad.
She skunked me. heres the pics of all the finds.

The trash pics is about a 3rd of what I threw away.

What did you set the ace 250 on Jewerlery? Because I need me some gold buddy. Got the prius gassed up fresh batteries for a month even back up detectors. My wife is hating me right now because I purchased two detectors on line and have'nt found enough to cover the cost of the batteries let alone the detectors.

Well our lakes are way down and she got this within a foot of the water, normaly that would of been 3-5 ft under.
