hello, everyone it's been very "hot" here in maine the last few days. so i haven't got out much, but i did get out for a bit today and found this strange token it reads "gracias stusia" on the front and "alkazoo-alkazam-alkaseltzer on the back" i did a little research and found that it is a GRACIAS STUSIA - Magicians Token i don't know how old it is. if anyone knows it's age i would appreciate it. thanks all. "god bless" ben.

WTG, that is a different find. I saw one on e-bay selling for $4.99. Anyway, here is some addirional information.

I would like brief, basic information about the c. 1936 radio show
"Thank You, Stusia": premise/story line(s), major characters & cast,
etc. A promotional token indicates that the series was sponsored by
Alka-Seltzer and may have been based in 15th century Spain ("Gracias
Stusia 1477"). There was also a song titled "Thank You, Stusia,"
possibly the program theme, written by Jack Frost in 1936.

Nice find!
That's one of the coolest tokens I've seen in a long time. Quite a conversation piece.

Thank you for finding that, and the answers responding to what it is. I dug one years ago, and at the time I tried half-heartedly, (or half-assly) for what exactly it was for. Knew it was alka seltzer, but that's it. Could not place a year on it. Kudos to a great find!
