My first Walker! WOO HOO!

Wow, was my heart pounding and hand shaking when I was diggin' this. I thought I had a silver quarter but what a pleasant surprise to see this baby pop out of the ground! My first Walking half! It's a little beat up, but if I didn't come across it it would have been lost in the ground forever. There is TONS of untouched ground here and U bet I'm goin' back - sore arm an all!

Congratulations!! That is a great looking coin, I have only found 1 half before and it is also a 1945 Walker. Mine was in the ground with the reverse facing up, when I saw that Eagle I almost crapped my pants, it was beautiful and so is yours. I can't wait to hopefully find another some day. WTG and HH
