hello, everybody me and the wife went to an old church today it was built around the 1900's we were detecting in the woods outback as we could not find the pastor to get permision to detect the yard yet. but we know him so we have a good chance he will say yes. but anyway we were there less than five minuts and i got a signal so i dug away and found what looks to me like a cross with an eagle and a number 7 on it. i did a little research and found it is a medal of some kind. i think from the french foreign legion i don't know. if anybody knows what it is i would appreciate your help. than we found a nice round brass flag pin also needs id. and a little silver ring all in less than five minuts but we had to go home as the wife had a "bathroom" problem lol. but we are going to hit this place hard tomorrow. thanks all. "god bless" ben & colleen.
