Catchin' Up --1893 Barber, '35 Merc, '50 Roosie & '65 Class Ring!

Have been getting detecting in, but only in short hunts between all the craziness that has been August.

Hunted in Michigan's Upper Peninsula on a visit to my parents. They live in a resort that was closed in 1970, and was originaly a company logging town. This has been detected many times for many years, but I snagged a bunch of wheaties, a 1950 Roosie, and a Sterling Silver class ring from 1965 (GJHS). Still working at finding the school the ring is from, and then to find the original owner......... (ringfinder and a couple of other places I've posted it, and been in contact with every Grand Junction High School (4) that I could find with no luck so far.)

Hunted twice in the park here in town that was a fairgrounds in the late 1800s and early 1900s. On one trip I picked up a 1935 Merc, and last night a 1893 Barber Dime.

I'm heading back out again tonight, and off to the U.P. for Labor Day weekend.........

I haven't noticed many silver class rings posted here; that's a nice assortment of finds.

Very nice silver digs and that ring is really cool too. I wonder if you can track down the owner
