Tuesday's Hunt

Went to Orwin Ball Field today for a hunt



started out along the bank
on the south side of the field


only finding Trash & Gas money,
The Woman Next door stopped in her car
on her way Past and told
me I should come over and hunt
their yard some more, because they
have piles of dirt to hunt.
And that She has a Couple items She Dug out
for me. & she didn't know what they were.



I told here I would Hunt
the Piles Best I Could
But I Would Realy Like to
hunt the west end of her Yard


Which she let me do of Course

Finds for the day Included some Trash

This US Army Transportation Corps Pin


2 Buckles


The Piles of dirt have Plenty
of Shards

THE DEVONSHIRE REGI .


And a 1944 Merc


I took the pics of the merc on site
and went Back over to the House before Leaving,
Knocked & showed her what I Found
and Offered Her the Silver Dime.
She said "No You found it, That's yours.
Come Back Anytime"

I told her Maybe DKinPA could
come along next time , He had to Work today

She said yea "He'll be Mad you found the silver"

I said "HaHa I'll have to Rub it in"

thats a cool pin whats it is that a spoked wheel with wings ? wonder what it represents ?
you scored some silver too congrats !! I'm sure there is a lot more waiting to be found
in that yard
Most people (me) have to search for property owners - you have them approaching you
it doesn't get any better than that

Also with the porcilien door knob, mason jar lid,buckle,and pieces of ceramic.Could be some nice older stuff there.Just things like that I go by.If the ceramic is blue feathered it dates 1840 up,green feathered 1840 back.

I think the whatsit might go with the Devonshire regi button.Although I can't find it looks like from looking at devonshire military stuff on the internet I often see wings and wheel on stuff.But can't find ship wheel, wings & wheel, and shield all together.
