Slim Pick'ns

I've got company in town again. Geez, what do these people think, I'm running a bed and breakfast here or something. :laughing7: I've got a buddy of mine staying for two weeks before he heads overseas for a new job in Kuwait.

It is cutting into my treasure hunting though and I was having such withdrawals today that I had to sneak over to the closest park to hunt for an hour.

There was little to be had, I did find another one of those new $1 coins, Matchbox toy car, earring finding, Avon dolphin charm, some clad and a surprise 1955 wheat penny that I would have never expected at this park.

I've found about 4 wheats in the last month and they have all been that clean. I did not do anything to these except wash the sand off them.

I will tell you this, the clad looks much worse in real life then in the pic, for some reason the flash made the quarters look shiner then they really are.

Last night I found my first Kennedy half and some other stuff.

Today I found a 1965 quarter in the surf that really looked like silver.

I'll get some pics up when I can.
