It is always interesting to unearth something from years gone by, and try to figure out what it was or used for, kind of a detective game, metal detecting that is.

Congrats on the assortment! The filigree item looks like a scarf item (with the wide opening on top and holder on the backside). The next item looks like jewelry, too, but without a shot of the backside, can't tell. Good belt buckles, but the looooong bell-shaped item is beyond me. Can't tell the size on the bell, but could have been off horse tack maybe. Good finds! - Noodle

Those are nice early finds.

I wanna say slave tag on that diamond shape item. But that is just a guess. If it is it's a great find.

thanks ,,aquila it was a fun dig ,,, got to talk to the land owner,,, he is 95 years old ,,,very nice old guy!!! followed us around on his 4-wheeler.

He had lots of old stories to tell,,,lol,,, thanks for the reply
