I spent a few minutes with the nugget coil today going over some soil in the garden which I keep turning over the years, and where I'd found early large cents and colonials before. It's a two wheeled cart which says "U.S.M." (U.S. Mail) and it isn't even broken like all the other toys I find! There is so much iron in the soil that despite it being only a couple inches down, it was a miserable signal.

Thanks Don. Were it not for me finding a few things like this once in a while, my wife wouldn't allow me to dig up the yard quite as much as I do!
