It was another great day at the 1700's hose,I met up with rtde3 and Ole Seabiscuit bright and early.Ty had to work so he missed today's hunt.Started finding thing's right off the bat,like I said,this place has everything from colonial,CW to modern day relic's.The one button has what look's like a turkey to me.....any idea's on this one?? Another one of my find's is my first Chinese Coin,I was told by two people in my building it was from the Ching Dynasty (AD?-1661) making it my oldest coin to date.Toward's the end of the day I got a faint foil +12 signal at a spot we all have hunted hard on.About 4" down out pop's this beauty of a ring,big time happy dance.Ole Seabiscuit said it was an old one.....the marking's inside read XXX with a sideway's W.Any idea's on this mark would be well appreciated.Sooo here's my find's for Saturday.I'm also going to post Seabiscuit's find's for him too....Some real nice find's as well.Thank's and HH

Great bunch of finds. I especially like the button. Hope you fiind out more info on it, and post it here.
The Chinese coin was minted by Emperor ShengZu, who reigne from 1662-1722. According to Hartill's
Cast Chinese Coinage, it is # 22.124, being minted at Linqing Garrison, Shan dong, between 1667-71.
A nice find, and the first of these I have had to research. It is a fairly common coin, being in the $2.00
to $3.00 range. But, from where it was found, a great find. :thumbsup:

I think the pendant is a luggage tag that slid over the leather strap that held closed steamer trunks. very nice finds the ring is gorgeous.

The gold ring is beautiful - you must have been thrilled to see that pop out of the ground!

I think the silver pin item with the initials on it is a scarf slide - sort of like what the boy scouts use for their neckerchiefs, but something a victorian era woman would have used to hold the ends of a silk scarf together up close to her neckline. Just my 2 cent opinion.
