Rubber Button

I found a rubber Burtton today in a washout.
The button is a little bigger than a quarter.
Any ideas on the age?

Appears to be a Great Seal button,1902 - present

Neat button find by eye!, and as Kugar said, after 1902 for the "great seal". It's unclear what yours is made of though. The non-metal ones were made of "composition", plastic, fiberboard, and vegetable ivory.

I found one of those that was corroded on the back, but never seen one like that
