Managed this button at an early homestead that once stood down the road. It's a 2-piece British Militia, but to bad for the lil dent on the front. I'll still keep it and sure it will get along with the rest of the buttons :coffee2:

Thanks all......still trying to get used to everything here and find my way around. I haven't researched this button yet but figure around 1840-1870's about. Come winter, I got a lot of research to do on a few others and can see what comes to light then, if not sooner.

I will try to post a few others from my collection that are worthy of display ;D

Welcome HR to the T-net. Your certainly in the right place to post some of your beautiful button finds, lots of relic hunters here. As for your button, I honestly expected it to be a 1812 era button, based on some of the other finds you've been making lately. One thing is for sure, its in great shape!.
