First 3 Ringer

This is my first post ever and I just joined so high to all whom are watching or listening and reading...etc....
today a friend and I went out in some woods near my neighborhood and followed a creek with our detectors.... my friend hit a musket ball and about one minute later
I found this 3 ringer- I think thats what its called. its my first one... I am not sure what kind it is though...

there are a lot of other firsts that I am working on as I am new to metal detecting all together but its just fun finding anything and learning history and collecting coins and the list goes on. thanks for your reply and good luck to you then next time you go out. keep well.

Welcome to T-Net and congratulations on your first three ringer. I think it may be a 58 cal. Great find and thank you for sharing the find. I bet you pull out a bunch more. I am never bummed when a three ringer comes out of the hole. Welcome and look forward to seeing more of your finds.
