I had a couple of remarks on the button on my awesome yard post so here it is, the backmark says C.KENYON Co New York it still has the loop on the back and is in wonderful condition!!

Yep. I found a button this past spring with the same makers mark. WW1

No, by WWI they were using the great seal, I think it is older (before 1901)
