Hello everyone. it's my birthday 10-21-61 and my first full year with my first ever metal detector (F2-fischer).
I knew it would rain today so I got out yesturday for about 4 hours at my old 1905 farm. I think I found where the kids played. I was hitting pennies like crazy. About an hour left before I had to go I final got some solid hit's I pulled my second Merc. :hello2: and another Indian head out of this site an 1893, and then an Italian pendant.. I think it's silver!! ??? anyhow I had great time out thier. found a nice Kennedy Half, Also I found this Victory Lock and it look's old but I can't seem to find it on the Web. maybe i can get some feed-back??
Well I'm hoping the rain goe's away I want to get out and enjoy my birthday hunting treasures..... being I have time off right now. But I will be heading up to the North woods this week-end to hike and hunt. it's part of my birthday gift... Can't wait.

Enjoy everyone I've had a very nice year. or maybe it's luck!!! :hello:

Happy Hunting

Thanks Allan.. Maybe this afternoon they say... I was so looking forward to getting out today. I scouted several old home's in St. Paul and I got permission to hunt an 1858. on Summit Hill..... It's a very rich area and alot of history..

Happy Hunting.

I see not many replies go out. Thanks to all you that have replied and continue to show your find's and support.

I guess I'm not going to get much support with a couple of my questions. and nobody replies to the basic finds anymore. Unless you found something with king george gold, civil war items.

Happy Hunting

Happy B-DAY!! Nothing like dirty silver for your birthday,I'd say you should try and get in all the hunting you can I fear we are in for an early winter and you northeners will be seeing it very shortly. I try not to let the rain scare me off have a nice rain jacket with warm ski pants, gloves and some improvised rain gear for my detector so if it isnt raining cats and dogs and no lightning Im out there hitting it. Its my moms B-day to so I figured you are a pretty special person being born on the same day. Over time Ive noticed that the number of replies to a post is inversely proportional to the size of the pics. So if the pictures are too big the number of replies will be very small, crop your pics some so they completely open without any scrolling and I can assure you the replies will go up,HH and HBD...Shoot

That's a very neat lock that you found. Is it a beaver on top of the shield?
