Two cent piece & odds & ends - Update G.W. inspired watch key

Hunted a private 170, 0's farm today with a pjroo33. Found a 1864 2 cent piece, a weird jewelry piece?(currently in the whats it), suspender clasp and a cool old pen knife. Fun day. Some of the pics are from my camera phone. Need to clean up the 2 center.

Update - The "weird jewelry" piece turned out to be a watch key/fob. johnnyi identified it in the what's it section. The key style was originally made for George Washington. There seems to be only a couple known?

Same here. I have a gut feeling it's jewelry but who knows. I can't seem to find anything in searches.

baspinall, I saw that spinning thing on what is it too, but I haven't found an exact image yet.

I may be wrong , but I have a feeling it may be most of what's left of a very cheap and clumbsy watch key (fob). I can't see the winding end in your image, but from what I do see it seems too large, and may have had the iron squared end inserted.
