I have been looking in a small field near my house that is surrounded by two houses dating back to 1801 and 1798.? I have heard that there might have been an older house prior to those houses being built.? I have located an area where there is a lot of ash down at about 8 inches.? Yesterday I found 6 colonial buttons and today four more along with a nice old hand forged pot hook....Lan
