I squeezed a short hunt in this morning in the hay field. I could not seem to pick up anything even worth posting >:(
About half way home I hit a nice repeating signal and out came this buckle. I am not really sure what kind of buckle it is. Age? I put the Half Dollar in for size comparison. I am hoping for it to be some kind of colonial era shoe buckle.

Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day for more copper.

Definitely an awesome find. You'll come across your colonial buckle soon enough.

I was thinking colonial at first until I saw the back of it. I have to agree with BuckleBoy, an 1800's suspender buckle. Still cool though.
