Okay i went out again TODAY and found some other goodies to add to the stash. Looks like a Mellwood bourbon whiskey bottlle. Its has spiderweb design all over it???? Be funny to get drunk and stare at that creepy bottle. llerThe cap is in perfect condition. Then, i white horse distillers... Gloscow, Scotland. The chas h phillips chemical co. Milk OF Magnesia bottle. The colonial pipe end with the black streak, muskrat tooth or whatever, def a vampire fang. This broACH looking small rectangle thing. almost looks like a uniform award bracket or sorts. silver nugget things that read good on the metal detector and are kinda light.!! Found a Pulley spindle thing and piece of a old pot.... that did oddly sound like a good hit..... anything from the 1600s is to me, for sure!!!!

:coffee2: :read2:

I hunt with a minelab in southern maryland...... Indian Head. Ive researched a spot and spent only one hour out there, today. During my time i found what looks to be> a old part of a pulley..... the part only one section of rope goes through. A bone necklace of sorts that has a black streak on it and some engravings and other marks, including a hole at the top??? maybe i could make a necklace out of it!!! Really cool find! i love metal detecting. Then a really long fang of some sorts that is really long??? like what animal could this have come from? a small button, A tombac button, right along the Potomac, lead rounds, chunk of pottery???? i don't think that its that old. top of a old bottle. I'm looking to detect with other people that somewhat know what there are doing :) theres a lot of them on treasure net!! Lets get together!

I was thinking beaver tooth at first but could be a muskrat. One of the bullets in the pic is a confederate Gardner. I can't tell about the other. The whitish looking thing in your hand looks like a colonial pipe bowl. Looks like you are in a good spot. If you want to take better pic of the bullets I'm sure we can ID them for you if you want.

That first pic looks like some "pot" metal. Maybe I'm wrong, if not the oxidation looks to be lead.Maybe beaver on the tooth?

Wow that sucks. On my blue gray a big piece will read like a buckle and a small piece will read like a copper or silver coin.

Lots of neat stuff. I have seen a lot of porcupine teeth that look just like that.
