Sensational find of mould for pendants - Viking age !

Historically, you can't get much better of a find than this one! Top notch museum piece. A banner for sure is in your future. Have a back side created and start pumping out some historical pendants!

Cru I was just looking at that and guess they inserted something in that slot so that when it was poured it would leave a hole to tatch it to.CRUSADER said:What can I say that hasn't already been said. Love the right angled bar which would have created the hole for the pendant, I wondered how that worked
We need another mould on the banner, my votes in!

Dane, I just realized that it is bronze. Wouldn't bronze have too low a melting point to be used for anything except to cast tin, pewter, etc? Are you absolutely sure this mold is bronze?
