Hello all!

My son and I had a chance to slip away early this morning while mama was tending to the turkey business ;D

We detected an old school built around 1918. I wasn't really finding much, so I decided to detect as close as I could get and under some old bushes. Well. I got one good "beep" dug down and came up with this OLD ring.

Check it out.

Happy Thanksgiving! ( I'm stuffed!)

Thanks all. There is some writing in the band, but I can't make it out yet. Maybe somebody's name? It is/was gold plated :icon_thumleft:

Rick that's a very nice ring. Congradulations on the find. My daughter, and I went out this morning for a little while. I got a nice silver quarter. 1942. Found it on my first dig. Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving. Maybe we can make another hunt together one day. HH.......

hey Rick, that's a honker. check it out a little more and let us know

Well, I have stared and stared with a 10X loupe and I think it says..... Dahlia ....inside the band.

It is a size 7, and is missing 4 of the little rhinestones. Most of the gold plating has worn off but some still can be seen in protected areas.
