I've been playing in the woods last couple of weeks and found a couple of things.
The small bottle was unearthed from the atv's in the area. Also found some more
old buttons-one is small with a three masted sailing ship on it-back reads rich gold.
The shiny button has an eagle clutching an anchor--think around WWII.Found plenty
of keys,a buckle, iron whatsit, two teeny weeny bullets, christina's name plate that was
folded in three,a 1945 quarter that I dug 10 inches for and the costume pin that
was found stuck to the bottom of my sons sneaker LOL.We lucked out on the snow
but got alot of rain instead so the ground was good and wet.Any info on the ship
button would be dandy.Any guesses on the iron?HappyHunts
I forgot to say I found atleast 30 shot gun shell butts!

Hey, you've got some early buttons, there!

Nice job on getting "silvered" with that Washington, but looking at those buttons, I'm rather surprised it wasn't a Bust or Seated quarter that you found!

PS- the bird thingie is a Native American Thunderbird motif. I'm pretty sure Ford used the symbol on the T-bird car at some point, plus it's been used in a number of other places.
