Today's relic hunt from the somewhat muddy fields

My buddy George and I went back to the field we've been hunting lately. Expecting a muddy mess but upon arrival it was'nt bad at all. With the rain we had all night and the melting snow it could've been pretty messy. George found two more coppers. One is a young George facing left and the other has no features. We stayed about 4 hours and had a good time getting our relic fix. The last two pics are George's finds for today.
HH and Happy and safe New Year,
Mike in NJ

I'd deal with the mud for a relic and coin fix!

Looks like you all did ok. I got out for about 3 hours and got a couple civil war bullets an eagle button and a bullet wormer. I was just happy to get out.

Great digs!!! I'm gonna have to get out this week, even if I have to use a hammer & chisel to dig thru the frost.........

Nice.. Very nice. I'd love to get out and play in the mud for all that. I would be satisfied just to have mud and not frozen ground.

good hunt Mike! glad you guys were able to get out. I had the Eagles game today. I just ordered an Etrac so I'm anxious to get out but now it is getting cold again....
