Last hunt for 2009 ~ 1951 Silver quarter & Trade Token!

Hello!

Well, today was my last hunt for 2009. I took an extended lunch today to go dig some treasures! I ended up with five wheat cents dating from 1924 to 1956, a 1951-D Washington Quarter, a trade token, and a some clad. The front of the trade token reads, CLUB CIGAR STORE/ L D / EUGENE OREGON. And the back reads, CLUB CIGAR STORE / L D / 5c IN TRADE.

I took pic's of the quarter and token before I cleaned them up. This 1951 quarter is my silver coin find #102 for the year. I was really trying to beat my silver coin total from 2008 (104 coins), but I didn't quite make it ~ I was very close though!

Nice token and i was just out spending money to get some and what do you mean last hunt still have one day but its suppose to be pouring i get off work a little early and might hit that spot i have been eyeballing who knows only 2 more to tie Kip

and that token is really sweet. You have done real well
considering you switched detectors and had to learn a
different one. One more day to go......maybe more?

One more day . . . . yeah . . . . I was thinking about that . . . . . too bad I actually have to do some work on Thursday! LOL

I found your token listed in Richard Greever's tokencatalog.com. It's listed in Hemphill's book.
Does not give a date, although a similar token from the same store is dated 1942. Here's a link if you want to check it out:
