Along with the kiddie Gem ring I found yesterday, I also found four wheaties:34, 41, 52D and 56D, these two tokens and a 48 D Rosey. The token on the right is in better shape, but it's my 5th or 6th overall. Still looking for more info on the manufacturer of Kiddie Gem rings. The one I found is silver. and the site dates between 1940-1960. HH to all.

Nice digs ! The ground sure did a number on that one token and stained that silver dime pretty bad.
What kind of area were you hunting in? The ring looks great . You definitely have a good hunt site.
Best of luck to you on future hunts there. HH!

Groungfisher, the site is an old housing area from the 40's - 60's on a military base. This part of post will be seeing some new housing built soon so they have bulldozed the trees and srub which have since grown. I have hunted this area over the past 8 years, but the dozers have given me new areas to hunt.

Congrats on the nice finds! Have moved to Schweinfurt and have been doing some research, this place goes back to bronze age and Celtic. Asked the town if I could detect a town building project, was denied as it's part of the original wall and was refered to the Archies in Wurzburg to get a permit. Still many free areas to detect, frozen solid at the moment, hunted a park that was a German military training area since the mid 1700s, found a musketball and 4 live rounds in the thick leaves of a forested area. HH, Mike
