    Old store gave up silver

Old store was built in late 1940’s. First good beep was the 1940 Mercury dime down 5 inches. Two more silver Roosevelt Dimes and the Washington silver Quarter. Also, found some type of US button and a eagle button. Then I found two wheat cents and some Memorial cents.

    Hi Beep-Beep,

Is there a shank on the reverse side of your 'US' button? I just want to make sure that it is not a badge.
Have seen badges like this people found on the sites of WW2 American training camps in Australia.

Yes the back had two pins one had the little cap on but it was rusted bad and fell apart the other pin was broke or rusted off. I think it was a badge.
