OK, it's garbage. But seeing the "garbage" from other posts on here is an encouragement to me.
Because as a beginner, I know that once they have sifted through all the garbage and still persued
the hobby, something worth while comes from the soil.

Happy Hunting and good luck to ya in 2010,

Thank you for the update on the lid YardDigger, some good info you found, and remember this, if it is interesting to you it is not trash, it is a relic, and you found this interesting enough to not only post it but also do some research to find out about it! trash? not! HH!

Thanks Chuck. Northeast Arkansas is still covered up with snow. We've had some pretty days though.
I enjoyed a long ride on my 4 wheeler yesterday.
I hope you and yours are doing well.
HH and good luck in 2010!

This is an opinion coming from a coin hunter which is understandable. My first 10 years of detecting I would get extremely excited about finding a Canadian big penny or an I.H. and guarded those treasures like they were the ultimate possessions. Now, I consider them to be junk.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
If you think these finds are treasure, then they are! It's all about enjoying this great hobby.
Best wishes,
Dave.

The machine HELPS, yes. But in the end it's how you use the tools you have.

No wonder I'm still single.

There's no such thing as garbage in this hobby. Only less valuable treasure.
