First Silver !

Well, Been MDing since mid Dec. when I bought a new XLT. Thought I would detect my front yard since the house was built in 1878. I got a target hit at 7" depth. It showed as a quarter and at about 7" I found my first silver
It was a 1919 Standing Liberty in VG condition ! Also about a foot away I found a 1911 penny!
May sound corny but I am going to frame my first Sliver !

That doesn't sound corny at all. When you have an all clad day you just look up at your first silver and remember what hidden possiblities are still out there.

Hey man, where's the picture?! Com'on! JK. Good job. You are going to think it's easy finding silver. Well maybe at your house but usually it's not so easy - especially a SLQ. That is a nice find. My son and I have found over 50 silver coins but no SLQ. :P Anyway, congratulations and keep hunting.

I framed my entire rookie year, about (5) months worth of silver for 2004:

The second quarter in the pic was my first ever silver find...
