I don't post too often but thought I'd post a few pics since I had a fairly good January. Hope the rest of the year is this good!

I had a couple days off last week so I hit the local park a few times. I invited several people but for one reason or another no one could make it to join me to hunt. Granted the weather was not so nice but that rarely keeps me from going out. On Thursday I had about 2 hours and walked away with 2 silver dimes, a few wheats, and a nice 1951 Franklin half. On Friday I spent about 4 hours hunting and walked away with 6 more silver dimes, more wheats, two indian head cents (1897 and 1906), and a New Mexico 5 mils tax token. Then Sunday I went back out and pulled in one more silver dime, 2 silver rings, and a couple nice pieces of "junk" jewelry (amathest pendant and half of a locket).

The best part about it was the coin spill on Friday...two wheats (1919 and 1918), one indian head cent (1897), one mercury dime (1925), and one barber dime (1912). These coins were at least 7-8 inches deep and the Explorer SE picked them out with no trouble!

I have included a pic of my January 2010 silver finds so far.

Happy Hunting!!!
