::) So I started swingin' my Corte's...
( Low and slow, of course ) ~ And I went home with 30 coins, for a total of $20.60 ! ;D
Also got a cheap brooch, a sinker and a few square tabs, and pieces of tabs,
~ as I was keeping my disc just above "foil" trying to make sure I could hear any gold rings etc.

All in all, a great mornings hunting with my mate.

Snowy,

welcome to the site.

Nice day you had there.

Parallel footsteps in the sand? ?

Are you a religious person ;)

Could have been the Good Lord helping you find things.

FOOTSTEPS IN THE SAND

One night a man had a dream.
He dreamed he was walking along
the beach with the Lord.

Across the dark sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene, he noticed
two sets of footprints in the sand,
one beloning to him and the other to the Lord.

When the last scene of his life flashed before him,
he looked back at the footprints in the sand.
He noticed that many times along the path of his life
there was only one set of footprints.
He also noticed that it happened at the
very lowest and saddest times in his life.
This bothered him and he questioned the Lord about it.

"Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you,
you'd walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that during the most
troublesome times in my life there is
only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why when I needed you most
you would leave me."

The Lord replied "My precious, precious child,
I love you and would never leave you.
During your times of trial and suffereing,
when you see only one set of footprints in the sand,
it was then that I carried you."

have a good un...........

Civilman1, I do go to the goldfields whenever possible,I have a Minelab GP3500 I use for that.
But the gold detecting hasn't happened for a while, partly because of family commitments,
and lately down here ~ real hot weather ~ too, way too hot for the bush...

Thanks for the welcome Dave, and Southcacalaky, I registered some time back ~ but lost the link to this forum...
I found it again though!!!

I can't work out how to reply individually to posters, maybe someone can oblige...

Thanks again,

HH

Wow- 30 coins for a total of 20 and change. I'd like to say we could do that here, but unfortunately we don't have a $1 coin(that circulates) or even a $2 or $5..... wish we did, though. Sounds like a great day, keep it up! HH! ;D
