CW Gun Part & other finds!
At last we got a chance to get out & do some more CW huntin'!
The spot we have been hunting the last few times is pretty trashy because an old home used to be there until some time after the war.
But the soldiers did make use of it during the war so it's worth putting up with all the junk.
I dug part of an old rifle as you can see. It has what looks to be the number 10 stamped on it. That's all the marking I can find. It is listed in the book though. I tried to find the hammer but no luck.
I also dug 2 parts to a shoulder scale, 3 69 cal bullets, one of them was cut to use as a poker chip, a pistol bullet, a round ball, a 1891 V nickel, 2 flat buttons, 2 bottle necks from our old camp spot, the tip of a pocket knife and some other misc. things.
That's all for now, catch ya next time!
