Todays finds, & January totals.

Hello all,,,
Got out for a few hours today. Found my first Buffalo nickel for the year. It's a 1925 in fairly good shape.
Found $0.12 in clad today, also. Haven't found enough clad for the year to buy new set batteries yet... The year has started out ok, I guess. I do have a few pieces of silver, and some marbles...
Thought I would throw the January totals in:
(2)- silver dimes, 46 Roosevelt, and 1920 Merc.
(1)- 1925 Buffalo nickel
(5)- Wheaties ( not show in the pic ), Oldest is a 1912
(3)- Marbles
and $1.33 in clad.

Just a little slow com'n out of the gate, but I'm hoping to haul it on down the stretch... :)
Good luck all, & happy hunting~

Ooops, forgot the .44cal bullet, & an aluminium token just below it. I think it's a token.? It's in pretty bad shape, but it's got some details on it I can't quite make out yet, I'll keep ya posted...

Well, let me try this again,,, also forgot to mention, total hunt time was about 15-20 hours.

"A little slow..." :D I think it'll pick up. That is a sweet buffalo nickel. Most of the ones we find here are in bad shape.

Thanks all,,,
As you can tell I don't dig a lot of clad. I'm going to have to change that. I need some battery money... :)
Good luck, & Happy hunting~

<P.S.> I have also been updating my Website. I got most of the stuff found last year on there, but I'm sure I missed a trinket , or two...

I'd say that's some pretty great finds for January in Indy!

And that 1925 Buffalo! They must have been jumping out of the ground this week! :D

Great finds Leon!
