Mark G. went back last night and me this morning.....here is what else we got......so far.....
1851 and 1856 Half-Dimes and 1870 and 69 Shields....
We're not sure that this is a cache...like I said before there is an unusual marker near where we found these coins....
I'm developing several ideas but you know what I just hope there is more there...enjoy......trust me we'll keep you posted....

I'm going to take some pictures of the spot and maybe submit this to a magazine.....its as much about friendship and learning as anything......aloha......johny mc.

Nice Johny. It may have been a small cache. The 1856 looks a little weird to me. Date is really small and looks like the rim is on the coin. Keep searching that area over. Did you get the coins in the same spot as the others. Or were these one's spread around the area. You may be in a spot of a old home.

Congrats Jer

Thanks for the great replys. Good eyes fellas. Now that I'm looking at the 56 it does seem a little off. I was a different variety than the 51, but the coin looks off center or something.
Thanks & HH
