Yep, It's a Kennedy half, it is silver being that it was made in 1964...
Couldn't tell ya anything about the value, but it's definitely a keeper in my book...

It is a very good find, last of the 90% silver halves. In the current silver market it is worth about $4 silver melt value.

1964 was the last year for bullion silver coins, so your Kennedy Half is 90% silver. They did continue to make Kennedy halves of 40% silver thru 1970.
