1950-S Rosie dime ~ 1943-S & 1944-P War nickels ~20 wheat cents

Hi there!

WOW ~ another perfect day for metal detecting ~ the weather was awesome!

Ron and I took a drive up north and detected all day! Here's what I dug today:

1950-S Roosevelt dime
1943-S War nickel
1944-P War nickel
20 wheat cents dating from 1917 to 1958
1951 Canadian Cent
1935 Washington Sales Tax Token
18 clad quarters
37 clad dimes
7 modern nickels
120 copper memorial cents
8 zinc cents
Sterling silver whatz-it

I took pic's of the Rosie dime and war nickels before and after I cleaned them up. This Rosie dime is my silver coin find #35 for the year. Also, I took close-up pic's of date areas on the coins, and of the STERLING marking on the whatz-it item.

Thanks for looking!
Neil

WOW NEIL!!!! you were very busy digging
on your hunt. Congrats on the war nickles
and the Rosie dime. The whatzit looks to be
from some sort of a harness connector.....
With all that clad, you should be able to fill
the gas tank pretty soon.. LOL Gold Nuggets :hello:

Hey Neil! :icon_thumleft:

120 Memorials? Man, you're a glutton for punishment. :laughing9: That's a lot of digging, but you dug a lot of oldies too.

Congrats on your finds, and your new machine!! You must be really liking it!

Good luck next time out.

Nice hunt............as usual Neil. You are off to a good start for 2010. But you have to stop taking so much time off from work to treasure hunt :laughing7: You'll definetly break the 100 silver this year the way you're going
