Well I have been on quite a roll lately with some early nice finds for the time of year and today it continued, searching the field were I missed out on the outher week I found my second Gold coin
The field was the one that I couldn't do because of a very late night were Michael my buddie took 27 Roman Bronzes and 2 Hammered from, well today I made up for it, after about an hour of searching the field, I flipped over a signal and revealed the colour we all dream off A Victorian 1864 Sovereign This our second Gold Sovereign for this year, hopefully not the last Goldi we will find I also added to my Silver Hammered count, with another Edward? penny bringing my total now to 13
The detecting time for our fields is coming to an end shortly, the crop is growing rapidly, but hopefully I might have a few more goodies to show before we stop till Harvest
MAN! You folks across the pond get some awesome finds. Here in the US a coin several hundred years old is cool but over there I guess some coins are a thousand or more years old. That sword thing looks rather neat too. Happy Hunting!

Dear metal detector God,
Thank you for all the stuff I find, I really appreciate the coins, toys, junk jewelry, old bullets, and all the other neat stuff I find, I try not to complain and cuss when I find pulltabs, foil, and other garbage, and I try REALLY hard to be nice to people who irritate me. I only have one complaint, I have yet to find gold and it's been a year now!

Very nice I thought it rang a bell & checked my Gold coins, I think it was Dad but might have been me - found the same 1864 Sovereign. Hopefully it will be your year of the Gold
That Roman is a looker, so a nice collection of different timespans
