My "treasure" cont.

Sorry I can only attach six at a time so I had to start a new topic.

I'm not sure you can even see it but this is an old lipstick container. (With lipstick still inside. Yuck.)

An old door knob found in Raeford ina vollyball court. (8" down), two toy guns, watch pieces, the only silver I have found has been on Pope, and last but not least my little helper, Caitlin! She is always "helping" me clean and sort what I find, not to mention trying to hide them for me again!

Thanks all for your patience in my postings. I just wanted to share. They may not be the best things found but they made me happy finding them.

I know the feeling. Everything coming out of the ground, well, it's just like Christmas. I do love it too. Congrats on your finds.

Re: My "treasure" cont.

Nice finds! Any idea what make & model the watch parts are? The case on the right looks nice. Hey I wonder if you froze the lipstick tube maybe you could get the lipstick out in one clean chunk... I don't know, just a thought.

Re: My "treasure" cont.

How deep was the cat? The one I found was about a foot deep and in a plastic bag. I think mine had several lives left as each time I rebured it he kept showing up back on the surface! ??? Monty

Re: My "treasure" cont.

Thanks Haupin, I didn't know that. I will remember that in the future. No idea on the watch parts. The biggest one is from a pocet watch though. You can still read the numbers on the front. Believe me my work table was a mess before "mom" made me clean it. She doesn't like a messy area so I complied in order to get some more dig time when the weather ever clears up. Sorry Monty my cat is still alive but if she continues to mess with my stuff she my not be for much longer! LOL!! Thanks all for your kind replies.

Re: My "treasure" cont.

I have pounded the area where I found the silver really hard. I have other items in the area but no more coins. I still go back there from time to time and I usually turn up something else. I guess its all in the dirction, angle, weather conditions, ect. that things still turn up in the area that you have covered over and over again.

Re: My "treasure" cont.

She ia a unique cat. Every time I come in she hops up on the table and watches me unload. When I turn around she will grab something and play with it or try to take off. When I ask what she's got she will put her paws over it and lay on it like I didn't see her take it. Its funny.

Our cat likes to play hide-and-go-seek. She'll run behind the curtain and her tail is sticking out. She thinks she's completely hidden ;D

Ya got to love animals. But on the other hand, I'm not so sure our cat is an animal. :D

I feel the same way Badger. There are times when she almost seems human. Heres another pic of her waiting for me to finish.
