Odd Token found at CW Camp

[West Jersey Detecting]

I swung by the CW Camp site that I have been detecting since march for a quick outing. I grabbed another thimble similar to the one I posted about a month ago. This one's incription says "Forget me not".

I also picked up some more horse tack, an 1893 Indian Head and a token like none that I have ever seen before. On side has FPCO and the other has S&A and the number three.

Does anyone have a clue as to what this octagonal token could be?

I'm betting the token is some sort of Railroad tag...just a guess.

I was guessing a railroad tag as well. If you haven't already, go in that research direction..

The only thing I found for S&A is the Savannah & Atlanta Railroad.

I think it may be a token.

Could it be an EPCO cigar token?

While it is crude, it does have the setup of a Currency token, this is just a WAG, but it seems to make a little sense to me. Here is a picture of another currency token to see the layout.

Yea, it looks like they may have been trying to punch a poor mans " & " by using an 8 and adding the little leg thingy
