Couple find's ..."new cellar"....

Found this plece pretty close to the old "back burner" site,Thought it was an old barn when I walked up on it but it's an old house.Apparently a tree was struck by lightning and fell collapsing the house.Circled the place and found that the cellar was still accessible through an opening. The place is littered with bottle's and who know's what else. The door leading up to the first floor is partially blocked,Pretty hairy since you got a whole house collapsed above you.It was 16 with the wind chill so it was nice down there. Here's a couple pic's and maybe someone can help me date these piece's.Gonna try and hit this place when I have more time.Thank's and HH!!

I'm with Gypsy, I'd have been looking like an Eithopian before you could have drug me away kicking and screaming. What a site, please be careful, she looks dangerous.

Civilman,
Great looking site, I'd say the site is older than the remaining wood would suggest.Any idea of the age? 16 degree wind chill !! diehard for sure. Good luck with the dig.

Wow! That looks like early 1800's. Arched windows and all.Just a guess though! I'm not familiar with the architecture of your particular area.
Thanks for the picture, looks very inviting.

Looks like a pretty cool place to hunt. Just have to be careful down there. I think I would wait till it was warmer to. Nice looking crock, congrats.

Very interesting looking site, looks to have some great potential...
Is that what's left of a (2) story brick builing at the neighboring site?
Good luck with it, & Happy hunting~
